As part of their membership, Members and Fellows of the Australian College of Social Works have access to additional CPD resources, programs and events. Access to 14 selected Social Work Journal titles online including Australian Social Work

In addition to the four journal titles AASW Members can access, ACSW College members are able to access a further 10 selected journal titles.

Advanced Practice Project

The Foundation Fellows have each written a paper on their understanding of ‘advanced practice’. Robyn Mason's paper summarises these papers and over the coming months, the College will publish a different paper on Advanced Practice from one of the 12 Foundation Fellows.

Forum on Advanced Practice - Fellow presentation video links

In November 2011, the Australian College of Social Work held a forum where four of the Foundation Fellows of the College spoke about their understanding of advanced social work practice. The forum was held in association with the Victorian Branch Annual Meeting.

College members can access video recordings of presentations by: Dr Peter Munn (rural SA), Professor Lesley Chenoweth (Griffith University), Professor Margaret Alston OAM (Monash University) and Dr Maria Harries (WA).

ACSW Members only Tele-symposium Program

The ACSW commenced a professional development program for College Members on ‘advanced clinical practice’ in March. This series of tele-symposiums harnesses the skills and expertise of our Foundation and Inaugural Fellows. Five Fellows will present on advanced practice topics, one every two months through 2012. In the College Members Area are symposium papers from past presentations, including by Tom O’Brien (29th March 2012).
