Practice Standards Review update
A review of the Practice Standards for Social Workers is now underway.
This important review will be conducted throughout 2012/13, with a view to revised Practice Standards being published by June 2013.
A summary of the key stages and timeframes will be uploaded soon to the Practice Standards Review web page. This page will continue to be kept up to date throughout the review.
A first round of national consultation will be held in July – August 2012. There will be a range of ways to participate, including focus groups and online processes.
In the meantime, we welcome any general comments, thoughts and feedback you may have on the current Practice Standards 2003. Feedback can be sent via email to practicestandards@aasw.asn.au
