Careers & Study

There are many options in Australia for studying social work. Entry level courses are offered as Bachelor and Masters degrees. All students undertake at least 1000 hours of field education as part of their training, working in agencies and organisations that deliver social work services to clients. Here they develop skills in a range of fields and engage in the application of academic learning in the practice environment. Once qualified, social workers have a range of employment pathways to pursue.
