    Full Event Description

The AASW (QLD) is excited to present a 1-day workshop delivered by the distinguished and engaging Pamela Trevithick.

This workshop will focus on identifying 80 generalist skills and interventions, but with particular emphasis being placed on the advanced skills that are needed when working with people who demonstrate defensive reactions, thoughts and feelings. The workshop will outline why– as human beings– we adopt defensive stances and how we can work effectively with the complex problems, difficult situa-tions and intense emotions that we encounter in our work. This workshop will be interactive and informative, fun and enjoyable.

We anticipate a big response to this workshop and seats are limited to 35. Please ensure you register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
