The 2010 WA Social Worker of the Year Awards winners will be announced on 8 November 2010 at Curtin University.
We are in the final countdown to the Social Worker of the Year Awards Ceremony to be held at Curtin on Monday 8 November, 6 pm. Over 100 people will be attending to celebrate the achievements of talented social workers from across the State and to publicly recognise the often unrecognised stories of caring and courage which our colleagues demonstrate in their everyday practice.
If you missed out on being at this gala event you will be able to read the winners stories on the Awards website http://swoty.wordpress.com/ later this month.
On the night you will have an opportunity to meet the winners, socialise with your peers, and enjoy drinks and canapés at the cocktail party which will follow the Awards Ceremony. The Awards night will be opened by our Patron Jan Stewart CEO LotteryWest and the MC for the evening is Verity James.
