The AASW is holding its National and Branch elections in the coming months. You will be able to find information about key dates, nominating, candidates and voting here on our website.

Nominations from Financial or Life Members of the Association will be called for the positions listed here on Monday 23rd July 2012.
Appointment of external specialists as Returning Officer
The AASW has engaged an external Returning Officer to facilitate the 2012 AASW elections. Electoral management specialists, Above Quota Elections, have been appointed as the Returning Officer for the elections and will be managing the voting and declaration of results process.
Are you eligible to have your say?
To be eligible to vote, nominate and be nominated as a candidate in the upcoming AASW Board and Branch elections you must be a current financial member. If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2012-13, please log in and do so or call the Membership team on 1800 630 124.
Advertising information for candidates
Candidates may advertise at normal commercial rates in national and branch publications. Advertisements will be placed at the discretion of the relevant publication editor.
The Spring Edition of the National Bulletin will be distributed on the 6th September. Advertising bookings for the Spring National Bulletin will be accepted until COB Tuesday 17th July.

Any national publication advertising queries should be directed to the National Bulletin Coordinator at bulletineditor@aasw.asn.au. Note: No paid election advertising will be accepted in the national e-Bulletin and the Special Election Edition of the National Bulletin.
The Special Election National Bulletin will be distributed to all members and is an opportunity for all candidates to introduce themselves to members through their Candidate Statement at no cost.
