Provide feedback on guidelines related to child protection practice
The National Committee for Child Protection Practice provides a focal point within the AASW for members with questions or concerns about child protection. We now have a members’ forum set up on the website so you can communicate with us about any child protection issues.
We are currently seeking feedback on guidelines being developed for practitioners to use as quick and handy references when responding to child protection issues. The first guideline refers to the rights of children and other stakeholders that we would expect social workers to uphold in their interventions and decision making. We would like to gain member feedback about the content and format of these guidelines before they are published for member use. Please send your comments to nccpp@aasw.asn.au
