What We Do
Assessment Fees
The current basic assessment fees remain unchanged
- Australian Non-Residents with overseas qualification/s $850
- Australian Residents with overseas qualification/s $850
- Non-Residents with AASW accredited qualification/s $350
- Non-Resident AASW members with AASW accredited qualification/s $250
The following additional fees apply to all applications which require any of the following additional assessments:
- Assessing skilled employment for migration purposes $150
- Assessing PhD qualifications for migration purposes $150
Fast Track Service
The AASW offers a fast track service whereby an application can be completed as a matter of priority, the current average processing time for fast track applications is three weeks providing the social worker submits all required documentation with the application. This will be available for certain periods of the year only and availability updates will be posted on the webpage.
- Fast track fee $150
- Current fast track availability; 10th April 2012 to the 14th May 2012. Fast track will re-open later in the year, date to be advised so please check the website.
- We have had to make a decision to bring forward the date of closure for Fast Track Applications This is due to a very high volume of applications currently being received due mainly to the new processing arrangements which will be introduced by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship on the 1st of July 2012.
- Pleae note that these dates may be subject to change at short notice so please check the web prior to submitting a fast track application.
Renewal Notices
Renewal Notice for expired migration skills assessment can be arranged on request. Please contact our IQA team to arrange this.
- Renewal Notice fee $75
Bridging Education Assessment Fee
- Fee to assess further overseas study, where non-resident applicants have been advised to Seek Advanced Standing or undertake supplementary education $300
Appeal Fees
- Stage 1 Appeals $150
- Stage 2 Appeals $500
