About the 2011-2012 CPD Policy

The AASW Continuing Professional Development (CPD) policy supports members in meeting their commitment to professional development by establishing CPD requirements for all members (excluding retired and student members) to be completed each membership year (July - June). Members may also complete additional professional development to gain Accredited Social Worker status for the subsequent membership year.

The CPD policy is also used by Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Australian College of Social Work members/fellows towards meeting their own requirements.
