AASW Board and Branch Office Bearers and elections

The AASW is now calling for nominations for a number of National and Branch positions.

These positions are:
  • National Vice President
  • National Board member (3)

For each of the AASW's 10 Branches:
  • Branch President
  • Branch Committee member (5)

Elections will be held to if more members nominate for than positions available. Election will be held in August – September and these positions all run from 1 October 2010 until 30 September 2012.
Please note that it is the responsibility of candidates and nominators to ensure they are current financial members of the AASW. If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2010-11, please log in and do so before completing the nomination form.

Board and Branch elections are one of the ways AASW members shape the Association. Members are the lifeblood of the Association and members' votes help to shape the direction of the Association.

Nominations for all positions must be received by 12 noon on Friday August 6 2010.

All financial members of the AASW are eligible to stand for national positions in the AASW and for positions in their Branch.
