Australian College of Social Work
The Australian College of Social Work promotes and advances excellence in Australian social work practice.
Established in 2011 as a specialised tier of the Australian Association of Social Workers, the Australian College of Social Work recognises, acknowledges and advances the highest professional social work standards.
As a community of advanced practice social workers, the college is involved in leadership and building practice excellence. It does this by providing opportunities to ask questions about what is happening in the social work profession, transferring knowledge, networking, enhancing skills and knowledge, and mentoring and supporting peers.
The members of the college are interested in working together to develop their own practice and find ways to help other members advance theirs.
As the Australian College of Social Work is still developing, it welcomes feedback and ideas from experienced members. Our aim is to ensure the college remains an important institution for social work excellence.
