QLD STATE CONFERENCE

WOW!!  What a highly impressive conference it was!!  The keynote speakers were outstanding as were each presenter for all of the concurrent sessions held.  Speaking to people afterward, the general consensus was that everyone was very happy with the quality and standards of the conference and found that it met all of their needs in way of education, updated and current information and piquing interest.  The University of Queensland really was a superb place to hold the conference and the Cocktail Party following the AASW AGM held in the UQ Art Museum concluding the event really was the icing on the cake!!  A very big thank-you and shout-out to the Organising Committee who have been organising and preparing for this event all year around!!  They have done an amazing job and all deserve a very special congratulations!!!

RESEARCH

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN RESEARCH ON PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION

An exploratory study of how supervision is currently practiced in Australia.

Previous research into the effectiveness of professional supervision suggests that supervision is essential for social work practitioners. However, not a lot is understood about how professional supervision is currently being provided and practiced in Australia.

This research aims to understand what the current supervision practices are and both supervisors and supervisees are invited to participate. In appreciation of completing the supervisor and supervisee surveys, you will be eligible to enter a prize draw for a $150 gift voucher. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

If you would like to participate in this research, please click on the links below to the online surveys. Please note that completing the survey/s will be taken as your informed consent to participate in the research.
