The Marte Meo program provides a practical approach to supporting development through relationships in everyday communication.

It uses video review and interactional analysis to show practitioners how to use ordinary interactions to support children’s development and to pass these ideas on to parents and other significant carers.

Understanding Grooming Behaviours and Child Safety

This introductory workshop provides participants with an opportunity to gain an understanding of the prevalence of child abuse in our community and impact of sexual abuse for children. 

The presenter, Jennie Charlton has worked in the community setting for 20 years and qualified as a social worker 14 years ago. Her careers has provided her with experience in aged care, disability, child protection, domestic violence, homelessness, fostering, criminal justice including custodial settings, mental health and sexual assault.
