Registering for Events

Attending AASW CPD Events is a great way to maintain your professional development, improve your skill set and network with colleagues to exchange ideas and experiences.  The AASW SA Branch promote events well in advance to ensure people who wish to attend can manage their commitments and be available.  We also encourage and support local involvement by engaging SA based presenters and ensure we cover a diverse range of interest areas.

Did you know?

  • The closing date provided for events is the absolute last date that we can accept registrations, if the event is not showing on the online event calendar, registration for the event has closed (either closing date or capacity has been reached).
  • If registered for an event you can receive a full refund by cancelling in writing 4 or more business days prior to the event.  No refund is offered for 3 or less days notice.
  • When budgeting events we work on a minimum number required by a specific date, if this minimum number of registrations is not achieved the event must be cancelled.
  • Attending an event unregistered places yourself and others at the risk of discomfort by being turned away.

Having to cancel scheduled events makes us sad.  You can assist us to continue to offer a wide selection of social work presented events by ensuring that you do not leave registering until the last minute.
