Are you a higher degree research social work student (enrolled in a PhD or Research Masters) planning to attend the AASW Conference 2019 in Adelaide? If so, you are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to present your research in a conference session titled: Challenging inequality through social work research: Presentations from higher degree research students. Hosted by the AASW National Research Committee (NRC), the session will showcase the breadth of emerging social work research in relation to the conference agenda of ‘Challenging inequality’. AASW Practitioner Research Grant 2019-2020 applications now open.

The AASW National Research Committee is now calling for applications for the AASW Practitioner Research Grant 2019-2020. This is a great opportunity for social work practitioners to engage in research, and contribute new knowledge to their area or practice context with financial support from the AASW. Contemporary Allied Health Approaches and the NDIS

 

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) have engaged with the Boosting the Local Care Workforce (BLCW) program to present this “must attend” workshop

This half day event will allow service providers the opportunity to hear an update from NDIA Provider and Market Engagement representatives on the price guide and current provider hot topics. In addition, the NDIA is pleased to invite guest presenters from the boosting the Local Care Workforce (BLCW) program to share contemporary approaches within the Allied Health sector, the use of Allied Health Assistants and other innovations available under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
