How do you record your CPD hours for the AASW Conference?

 

Person's hands on a laptopDid you attend AASW Conference 2019? It was a fantastic event with so many insightful presentations and thought-provoking keynote speakers. We hope you had a memorable learning experience.

Before the new year ticks over, take this opportunity to add the time you spent at the Conference to your CPD record.  The AASW CPD Team have prepared some information to help you log your conference time correctly.

CPD Categories

General attendance can be classified under Category 2 – Skills and Knowledge - Conferences.

If you networked with colleagues in the breaks you can also include this time under Category 3 – Professional Identity – Professional Networking.

If you were a presenter at the Conference you can include your preparation and presentation time under Category 3 – Professional Identity – Presenting at a conference, seminar, workshop or similar.

CPD Hours

Thursday, 7 November: 3 hours (including the welcome event)

Friday, 8 November: 9am to 5.30pm (8.5 hours) if you attended the dinner afterwards:  7.00pm to 11.00pm (4 hours)

Saturday, 9 November: 8.00am to 4.30pm (8.5 hours)

When you finish inputting details relating to the Conference, in the activity e-form on your CPD Record, there is no need to attach evidence. Leave as default option “upload evidence later "and tick save and return.

Don’t leave it until the last minute, spend 15 minutes now to get your conference attendance recorded while it is clear in your memory.
