MARRIAGE EQUALITY

The AASW strongly welcomes the outcome of the postal survey.

It is now time to make marriage equality a reality.

Update on previously advertised Expressions of Interest

We’d like to thank everyone for their interest in our current projects. Both the National e-Bulletin and State Newsletter Bulletins have provided a valuable link to our members which has seen several successful outcomes. Our Countering Violent Extremism EOI resulted in 81 applications from across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Interviews were conducted and 16 trainers were appointed. Our call for Casual Assessors for AMHSW applications resulted in 54 applications being received. The quality of the applications far exceeded our expectations and made the task of shortlisting very difficult. We have now closed this EOI. We recently sought EOIs to deliver in-house Cultural Awareness Training to AASW staff. This resulted in 5 applications, with the role being filled within a week. Watch this space for future EOIs.
