Description
Schools have become hubs for welfare provision over the past decade with more challenging behaviours being exhibited by students every day. 'Early Intervention with Challenging Behaviours,' is a workshop tailored for early career school social workers to help support their schools to recognise and engage with students who are struggling. This workshop will equip school social workers to methodically analyse and address complex behaviours in children and young people. You will gain expertise in deconstructing behavioural triggers, evaluating internal and external influences on student conduct, and implementing evidence-informed, strengths-based interventions—emphasising somatic regulation strategies. This workshop provides an exploration of practical tools and strategies essential for effectively managing challenging behaviours in educational settings.
