Social work managers, leaders, and supervisors have the responsibility to lead and manage change to embed new practice, innovate services and programs, implement social reforms, and nourish workplace cultures which support reflection and ongoing learning.
This interactive virtual workshop will equip you with an approach and accompanying strategies and tools to weave adaptive leadership into the way you supervise and manage your team. It outlines a model of adaptive leadership relevant to human services, and a range of adaptive leadership strategies and tools and to apply to your workplace and field of practice.
Who should attend? Supervisors with all levels of experience and social workers and other practitioners who are interested in learning about adaptive leadership and how to exercise it in team and organisational settings to foster change and innovation.
This workshop is suitable for established and evolving social workers in management or leadership roles and those who provide professional supervision services.

Presenter
Grace Leotta is a social worker and AASW member with a background in senior management, community development, and family work.
As an organisational development and training consultant Grace develops and facilitates planning, change management, organisational and practice development, and community engagement processes, develops and facilitates training programs, conducts reviews and evaluations, and provides management coaching/professional supervision.
Grace has experience in teaching at a tertiary level in community consultation, community management and social science.
Grace is a Harvard University trained adaptive leadership consultant, an internationally certified facilitator, a nationally accredited trainer and assessor, and an Australasia licensed community engagement trainer.
