Social Workers have become a vital and respected component of supporting our youth in schools - through balancing our students' education and their personal wellbeing.
A key challenge that school Social Workers face is: How do we adapt our traditional Social Work practice into the school structure that was built for educators?
The upcoming case management in schools workshop explores the adaptation of traditional case management frameworks into a school social work setting. Understanding the specific roles and responsibilities of school social workers is essential in adapting traditional social work practices to meet the needs of the school community. Using a strengths-based approach with systems theory lens, the workshop explores practical skills to break down barriers, cut through the noise, and engage effectively with a multitude of stakeholders to provide positive outcomes for students.
Who should attend?
This workshop is suitable for anyone looking to explore case management frameworks in a school setting.
