About the Presenter -
Monique van Zelm Felix, is a dynamic and innovative Social Work leader with a rich background and nearly two decades of experience working with Neurodivergent individuals and families and other disabilities, particularly with the deaf community.
Monique holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Social Work, specialising in community development and counselling. Her expertise extends across various domains, but supervision, training, and flexible online learning are currently a huge part of her practice.
Monique has been providing flexible and innovative clinical and non-clinical services to NDIS participants, clients, and professionals through her private practice in Brisbane, Australia, for 10 years. She consults internationally through Guidepoint International Advisors on the NDIS and teaches many different professional groups here in Australia about NDIS Social Work.
Monique is a passionate EMDR provider who specialises in using this modality, along with others, to work with the neurodivergent community.
