Let's talk about Greenwashing and the Ethics of Care in the world of Disability from a SW student perspective. Join the NSW Northern Rivers Practice Group for a presentation from Jessica Nettle and Catherine Graeme-Cook.
There will be a research presentation from Jessica about her project: The intersection of greenwashing and social inequity.
And a presentation from Catherine about her Honours project: Exploring the relational experience of Australians with disabilities from CALD backgrounds through an ethics of care lens; a narrative analysis of the Disability Royal Commission submissions.
About the presenters:
Jessica Nettle is a social work student at Southern Cross University, dedicated to social justice and environmental sustainability. Jessica is currently on placement and is working on a research project exploring greenwashing and education. Jessica aims to promote awareness and responsible practices in the environmental and social sectors.
Catherine Graeme-Cook is a social work student at Southern Cross University with a passion for access and inclusion of people living with disabilities. While living and learning on Bundjalung country, I consult on accessible concerns on projects and actively volunteer within local council and hospital advisory groups to advocate for the rights of all abilities in our community.
