Capability Level: Evolving and Established
In the demanding landscape of twenty first century social work, it is crucial for professional organisations to prioritize staff wellbeing and resilience. As professionals committed to supporting vulnerable populations, dealing with long hours, difficult caseloads, and high levels of compassion fatigue it is crucial for your social workers to have a supportive and proactive workplace wellbeing framework. As managers in the social sector, you know that self-care isn't a luxury—it's a necessity. In this workshop you will gain an in-depth framework that helps you to empower social workers to recognize and address their own needs proactively, prevent burnout and improve overall job satisfaction.
Who should attend?
Managers in social work organizations play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of well-being and resilience among their teams. Attending this training is essential for managers at all levels to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges their staff face and to equip themselves with the knowledge and tools to support their team members effectively. By participating in this training, managers can learn how to recognize signs of burnout and stress in their staff, facilitate open discussions about self-care, and implement organizational policies and practices that prioritize staff well-being.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
