REGISTER HERE FOR AASW NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM 2020
To be held on Friday 6 November 2020, the symposium was originally planned to be a face to face event in the NT Darwin but due to the unforeseen disruptions of COVID-19 the symposium will now move to an online format.
The theme for the AASW 2020 Symposium is “Promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Work”.
The symposium will bring together a wide range of professionals, key industry groups, and stakeholders across the health and human services to discuss and promote thoughts on social work practice and ideas that shape Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander social work culture, research and teaching, together with sharing key challenges and highlights facing our sector.
Themes streams that will be included in the Symposium program are described below.
