Ms Olga Havnen is of Western Arrernte descent, grew up in Tennant Creek and has been CEO of Danila Dilba Health Service since 2013. She has held a range of senior public and non-government sector roles in her long career in Indigenous Affairs including NT Coordinator General for Remote Service Delivery, Head of Indigenous Strategy with Australian Red Cross, Deputy Director of the Northern Land Council, Principal Policy Adviser with the Office of Indigenous Policy in the NT Department of the Chief Minister and Manager of Indigenous Programs at The Fred Hollows Foundation.
Ms Havnen has held many Board positions as a Director, including the Indigenous Land Corporation, Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, NT Primary Health Care and the Deputy Chair of AMSANT. She has also been appointed to high level advisory bodies including NT Government’s Expert Reference Panel on Early Childhood development, Vice-Chancellor's Indigenous Advisory Council, Charles Darwin University. She is currently a member of the NT Community Justice Council and is a Director on the AMSANT, NACCHO, MJD Foundation and the Stars Foundation Boards.
