Climate Justice - Which side are YOU on?
Join the Griffith University School of Human Services and Social Work and the Australian Association of Social Workers Queensland Branch, for a panel presentation on the macro, meso and micro perspectives of climate change and what social workers can/are doing to confront the climate crisis and advocate climate justice. The evening will begin with a networking function where light refreshments will be served and a cash bar is available.

Dr Angella Duvnjak - Dr Duvnjak is currently lecturing at Griffith University Logan Campus and has been teaching, researching and publishing in the social sciences and public health over the past 15 years. She is engaged in research and political activism in the areas of reproductive politics, animal rights and veganism, feminist theory, class and social disadvantage and women and drug use.
Dave Andrews - Dave has studied anthropology, theology and mission at Fuller Seminary and community development at a postgraduate level at the University of Queensland. He did his master's thesis on how to develop a community of hope in a hopeless situation.
Dr Jennifer Boddy - is a Senior Lecturer with Griffith University. Jenny is a highly respected and insightful Lecturer, she contributes widely to knowledge and practice of social work both in Australia and internationally. In particular Jenny has researched and added to social work knowledge in the area of environmental social work.
