The concept of countertransference for some practitioners can be complicated, mysterious or even outdated. This presentation helps demystify as well as adding depth and relevance to the concept of countertransference while also exploring its clinical applicability, especially in regards to supervision.
Meet the Presenter
David Davis has been a Social Work Counsellor for 20 years in a variety of client settings with experience conducting counselling sessions with families, couples and individuals while also providing clinical supervision to both students and staff.
Davis holds a Bachelor with Honours in Social Work and a Masters of Social Work in Couple and Family Therapy. He has also been a tutor/teacher at University and CIT and conducted various counselling related lectures to ACT Health Social Work and Counselling staff 2011-present time and has a great passion for teaching and lecturing.
