Welcoming social workers to our October meeting!
Dr Simon Duffy, internationally renowned activist in the UK will speak about the Centre for Welfare Reform and its work in many countries, and the creative potential of individual funding in disability and aged care services.
2 CPD hours
This meeting is proudly organised by the Individual Funding Social Work Practice Group (IFSWPG).
The IFSWPG offers peer support and information sharing to any social worker interested in individualised funding services. This includes individual practice, community development and service system design in the disability and aged care fields amongst others. Disability services are being transformed by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and aged care by consumer directed care (CDC) and new roles and opportunities are evolving that are available to social workers.
