The purpose of this course is to introduce the concepts of mental health in teh workplace, identify signs and symptoms of mental illness and provide practical tips to better engage with others wit h mental health issues

Presenter details

AJ Williams-Tchen is a Wiradjuri / Wotjobulak man who has qualifications in social work, nursing, youth work, and Aboriginal health. He is an accredited Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who has 23 years experience working in the health and community services arena. He is also an AASW Reconciliation Ambassador. AJ’s speciality is in mental health and Aboriginal social and emotional wellbeing. He is the winner of the 2011 & 2012 Mental Health Matters Award for ‘social and emotional well-being and has been appointed the 2016 Emerging Victorian Indigenous Leader.
