In the early 2000s Naomi joined the NSW AASW BMC. From 2005 to 2009 I served on the AASW National Board. As the Board's International SW representative I used my leave to attend international SW conferences where I presented on Sustainable SW Associations and Human Trafficking.

Australians are a kind lot. Apart from our aboriginal siblings, we are all boat people. Mostly we're welcoming and hospitable. Most Australians care deeply about a 'fair go' and living equitably.

Australian legislators have embraced rules for exposing and countering human slavery and trafficking.

We're proposing for our Shoalhaven World SW Day gathering to workshop 'Human Trafficking in my community.' What do you know about it and what can I do about it?
