For so long we believed the way to grow and develop was to focus on improving our weaknesses. More recently we’ve realized that working with our strengths is a key way to build resilience, perform better in our roles, and manage our relationships in the workplace. At all levels of experience and seniority, having a self-awareness of personal strengths is a valuable foundation for future success.
This 3.5-hour virtual workshop will introduce participants to ways of identifying their strengths and working with them for increased effectiveness and resilience.
Using the world-renowned VIA Character Strengths Profile, this session will encourage participants to consider ways to adopt a strengths-based approach to their own development. With guidance from an accredited organisational coach, participants explore their own Character Strengths Profile and discuss ways to apply their strengths in a variety of situations and contexts.
Who should attend? This session is recommended for anyone interested in exploring their abilities and building on their personal strengths.
3.5 hours of CPD activity: Category 2, skills and knowledge
AASW Credentials: Supervision (coming soon)
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
- Identify their signature strengths
- Become mindful of the potential dysfunctional applications of their strengths
- Recognise how their strengths support them in their work and life
- Proactively apply their strengths to a range of situations
- Build workplace connections through development of character strengths
