About the presenter - Anthea Fraser
Anthea is a Radix Body Centred Psychotherapist (Certified 1997) and a Senior Trainer for the Australian Radix Training Centre. She is a Clinical Social Worker with over 35 years experience in the fields of mental health, community health, relationships and family work. She has extensive experience working with adult survivors of childhood trauma providing casework, 1:1 therapy, group therapy and residential therapeutic workshops. Anthea worked for many years in a therapeutic community at Glenside Hospital for borderline presentations of complex trauma.
Anthea has been in private practice for over 20 years, continuing her work with adult survivors of childhood trauma, included Dissociative Identity Disorder. She also works with survivors of adult trauma including one off events, war veterans and victims of crime. Anthea is an experienced supervisor of allied health professionals and students. Anthea is also a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist.
The Australian Radix Training Centre runs training nationally in Australia, the US and Europe. In teaching and training, Anthea’s particular interest is the application of theory and the development of skilful therapeutic practice, at all levels of intervention.
