SA Facilitating Reflective Practice and Group Supervision

This presentation will support current supervisors to build confidence in supporting reflective conversations and providing tools to assist those conversations. It will provide a range of group based frameworks to assist group reflection and ensure that these sessions are documented to help staff meet CPD requirements as well as agency expectation.
It is suitable as a refresher or introduction to Reflective Practice Theory and the importance it plays within Social Work. Building confidence in questioning and use of tools to assist supervisees to start to reflect in one to one sessions. Considering how to bring group reflective practice into organizations and building comfort in working with resistance of staff. Managing the documentation of group supervision and accountability.
Jennie Charlton is an experienced Clinical Social Worker with a sound knowledge of Criminal Justice, Mental Health, Domestic Violence and Child Protection frameworks including a sound theoretical base of these areas within group work settings.
