Speakers from Inclusion Melbourne, a leading, innovative disability service that moved away from day centres and provided individual services for years before the NDIS began, will discuss their work and opportunities for social workers in the NDIS.
This meeting is proudly organised by the Individual Funding Social Work Practice Group (IFSWPG). See more details at: https://inclusionmelbourne.org.au/services/personalised-support/
The IFSWPG offers peer support and information sharing to any social worker interested in individualised funding services. This includes individual practice, community development and service system design in the disability and aged care fields amongst others. Disability services are being transformed by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and aged care by consumer directed care (CDC) and new roles and opportunities are evolving that are available to social workers.
