Daphne Middleton is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW) and Clinical Supervisor with over 25 years experience in human services and education including holding senior positions over 12 years for the Western Australian Health Department Child and Adolescent Mental Health service, providing Advanced Case Management for complex client issues along with project and field research roles, Child Development Social Work, Child Protection and Tertiary Educational services. Daphne is known for her therapeutic support focus that allows professional helpers to experience a calm and productive space for shared reflection. She helps workers to bring clarity to their work so they may evolve themselves and their practice. She uses a mix of mentoring, coaching, trauma informed , narrative therapy approaches so that workers can achieve a high level of self awareness. She is an experienced Clinical Supervisor who has worked in a dedicated Professional Excellence role as a Consultant. She has provided Clinical Supervision (Individual and Group Supervision) for over 70 staff of various professions and has attended professional development training in External Supervision to enhance that role.
