How do I enter the AASW Renewals CPD Competition

You can enter our competition by completing the renewal of your current AASW membership by 30 June 2021. As part of this renewal, you will need to review and confirm your details, such as name, address contact number and current employment. You will also need to complete your declarations that help ensure you satisfy your member obligations. These declarations may include licences, other memberships and regulatory obligations as applicable to you. They also cover continuing professional development (CPD) hours. Once you have completed this process, you will automatically be entered in to the draw unless you chose to opt out of our competition.

How do I know if I am eligible to enter the draw?

You are eligible to enter if:
- You are a current financial Member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Complete your Membership Renewal and update the Required information prior to 11:59pm on Wednesday 30 June 2021
- Not be a company, business or organisation of any description, or an AASW employee, or of any agency associated with this Competition, or any Immediate Family Member of such a person.

What date does the competition close?

The competition will close at 11:59pm (AEST) on 30 June 2021.

How many entries can I have in the draw?

You are entitled to one (1) entry into the AASW draw once you have completed your Membership renewal. All renewals must be completed by midnight (AEST) 30 June 2021.

Can I win more than one prize?

No, each entrant is only eligible to win one (1) prize.

How many winners will be drawn?

There will be one (1) AASW CPD Subscription winner drawn.

What products is the AASW CPD Subscription applicable to?

The AASW CPD subscription can be used for any on-demand learning available through the AASW’s On-Demand Learning Platform. A full list of current products is available at https://www.aasw.asn.au/professional-development/swot-social-work-online-training

Is there a limit on how much on-demand learning I can access with my subscription?

No, you may complete as many online courses as you wish within the six (6) month period.

How do I use the CPD Subscription?

Our Education and Training Team will create an account for you within the AASW On-Demand Learning platform and you will be sent an email to set up your account. Once your account is active you will have access to all the available learning content.

When can I use my CPD Subscription?

The AASW CPD Subscription will be active and redeemable from 1 August 2021 until 30 January 2022.

If my company is paying for my membership renewal, am I still eligible to enter?

Yes. As long as you complete your Membership renewal and follow all requirements, as instructed in the AASW Renewal process, you are still eligible to enter our competition.

How will I receive confirmation that I have completed my renewal and entered the competition?

You will receive an email as confirmation of your membership renewal and competition entry.

How will a winner be selected?

At the end of the competition period, the AASW National Office will randomly draw three eligible winners using a computerised random selector.

When will the winners be selected?

The competition will close on 30 June 2021. The draw will take place on the week commencing 19 July 2021.

How will the winners be contacted?

A staff member from the AASW will notify all winners by their nominated email or phone number once the draw has taken place on the week commencing 19 July 2021.
