Call for Qld Branch Management Committee and sub-committee members

The Branch is seeking new Branch Committee Members and would like Expressions of Interest for the Branch sub-committee's.

Members of the BMC contribute by actively participating in and influencing the current and future work of the AASW Branch they are representing. BMC members also enjoy the opportunity to promote the AASW to internal and external audiences, engage and support local Branch members, and be a part of the association's growth.

The Branch has 3 casual BMC vacancies open, ready for your nomination.

Branch Sub-Committee's

Sub-committee's provide a means to assist the Branch Management Committee (BMC) in the development and execution of key governance responsibilities. The sub-committees’ purpose and functions support and align with key AASW documents including National and Branch Strategic Plans, the Code of Ethics, Practice Standards, the Reconciliation Action Plan, The Constitution and the By-Laws. The sub-committees are supported by, and work with, the Branch Manager in meeting its purpose and functions.

The Branch is seeking expressions of interest for the First Nations and Allies, Social Policy, Practice  Groups and CPD & Membership Engagement sub-committee's.
