The AASW welcomes this inquiry and its broad understanding of the issues related to NDIS markets because social workers observe significant gaps persisting between the support that participants require and the services that participants are actually receiving.

Submission to Inquiry into the NDIS market in Queensland - 09 September 2020

The AASW welcomes this inquiry and its broad understanding of the issues related to NDIS markets because social workers observe significant gaps persisting between the support that participants require and the services that participants are actually receiving. Our members’ experience of working within the NDIS is that there are three main limitations to the operations of the NDIS marketplace which are limiting Queensland participants’ outcomes.
