QLD School Social Work Practice Group – August Meeting

Join us for Child Voice Practices: Enhancing Engagement with Children and Young People, a session that unpacks participation and engagement through practical approaches to attune to the needs of children and young people. You’ll gain meaningful and actionable ways to strengthen your practice and build deeper connections.

We’re excited to welcome Nathan Gallagher, who brings over 15 years of experience in direct practice, leadership, research, and practice development across human services and child protection. As co-founder of Journey & Connection, Nathan is passionate about relational practice and helping children and families flourish. His engaging facilitation style blends theory with hands-on strategies to support children and young people, particularly those with developmental trauma.

This meeting is open to Social Workers in schools across QLD and Australia who are looking to connect with peers, share experiences, and explore ways to strengthen their practice with students and families.
