Presenters
Host - Jenny Rose (Board Director, AASW)
Jenny has been an AASW Director since October 2017. Jenny works as a Social Work Student Educator and Emergency Department clinician where her clinical work is mostly trauma based. She has been employed by NSW Health for over 20 years. She has a commitment to ongoing education and has also completed a Master of Mental Health (Child and Adolescent), Diploma of Business (Frontline Management) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Prior to coming onto the Board, she was an active member of the NSW Branch Management Committee for six years. Jenny chairs the Association’s Standards and Assessment Committee and is a member of the People and Culture Committee.
Facilitator / Panellist - Lisa Harrison (Emotional Intelligence Coach and Trainer)
Lisa is a highly experienced, accredited Emotional Intelligence coach and trainer. For 25 years she has assisted people and organisations to develop personal and interpersonal skills for managing self and relationships in the workplace. She specialises in practical approaches with tangible skills and behaviours, based within the framework of positive psychology, and gives people the tools to create measurable, sustainable behaviour change. She has worked with a multitude of organisations across all types, to help their people build their resilience through working on their actions and beliefs. Lisa’s facilitation style is joyful, dynamic and insightful, creating a psychologically safe learning environment to encourage participation, reflection, and growth mindset.
Panellist - Margaret Bramwell (Head of Social Work, St Vincent's Hospital Network)
Margaret Bramwell is the Manager of Social Work St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney (SVHS) and is responsible for the overall leadership of social work services including the provision of student education and professional development. Margaret is the SVHS Network Advisor for the profession of social work and established the Social Work on call service for trauma response at SVHS creating 24/7 access to trauma psycho-social care and leads the current operational response for social work to COVID-19.
Previous roles among others, have included Deputy Director of Social Work at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) and the Senior Social Worker for the Intensive Care Unit RNSH leading the Acute Care team of Social Workers and providing extensive professional supervision to staff and students.
