The WA Branch is supported by a Branch Management Committee elected by the Branch membership. 

The Branch’s key role is to provide local support for AASW members through a range of activities that enable members to network, develop practice skills and organise around social justice issues.

We’re delighted to welcome Michelle Moriarty, grief expert, educator, and founder of Grief Connect. Michelle is a finalist for the 2025 Social Worker of the Year and recipient of the 2024 Women in Regional Business Award and 2023 AgriFutures WA Rural Women’s Award. She will be sharing her reflections on Hope and Harmony within grief settings, an inspiring way to frame our shared purpose.
