Chris Hannan is the National Vice President of the Australian Association of Social Workers and previously served as a Director from 2021-2022, contributing strong governance expertise and institutional knowledge to the association’s leadership.

Chris is an executive leader, clinician and social worker with more than 25 years’ experience across the mental health, disability and community sectors. Committed to strengthen professional standards, ethical practice and organisational culture across the not-for-profit and community services sectors, Chris collaborates with boards, practitioners and sector partners to support reform and high-quality practice, while also working as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker in private practice.
