Liz Little is the National President of the Australian Association of Social Workers and has contributed to the association in a range of senior roles for more than a decade. Her leadership experience includes service on the National Accreditation Panel since 2015, acting as a national Case Reviewer for alleged breaches of the AASW Code of Ethics from 2021-2023, and serving as Branch President of the Tasmanian Branch Management Committee from 2023-2025.

Liz is unwaveringly committed to social work as a profession grounded in the betterment of the human condition. Guided by the AASW Code of Ethics, she values social work’s unique capacity to engage individuals, families, communities, organisations and governments to pursue social justice and social change. The values that the profession of social work holds has influenced her energy, confidence, resilience and advocacy, and continues to shape Liz’s leadership of the association.
