National Workforce Survey for Child, Parent and Family Mental Health

Key datesThe survey is open now and closes 15th November 2023
Participants soughtEmerging Minds is inviting occupational therapists to complete the 2023 National Workforce Survey for Child, Parent and Family Mental Health. You do not need to work with children or have a focus on mental health to participate.
The survey is open to all workers in health, social and community services who:
·       have a focus on child clients, adult clients, or families; or
·       do not work directly with clients but do work in health, social or community service sectors.
AboutThe anonymous survey captures current capabilities, practice challenges and learning needs for a broad range of workers in understanding and supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and families. The survey provides a snapshot in time of workforce competency and provides a comparison over time to the inaugural 2021 survey.
The data collected will be used to develop policies and workforce development strategies to strengthen the capacity of professionals to promote and support the wellbeing of children.
What is involved·       The survey asks workers about their roles, their work and to how they feel about their own knowledge and skills in child mental health.
·       There are three iPads still to be won! The prize draw will be drawn in November.
Your survey responses are anonymous – if you would like to enter the prize draw, your contact details will be captured separately.
The survey takes about 25 mins to complete.
