Key dates | The survey is open now and closes 15th November 2023 |
Participants sought | Emerging Minds is inviting occupational therapists to complete the 2023 National Workforce Survey for Child, Parent and Family Mental Health. You do not need to work with children or have a focus on mental health to participate. |
The survey is open to all workers in health, social and community services who: |
· have a focus on child clients, adult clients, or families; or |
· do not work directly with clients but do work in health, social or community service sectors. |
About | The anonymous survey captures current capabilities, practice challenges and learning needs for a broad range of workers in understanding and supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and families. The survey provides a snapshot in time of workforce competency and provides a comparison over time to the inaugural 2021 survey. |
The data collected will be used to develop policies and workforce development strategies to strengthen the capacity of professionals to promote and support the wellbeing of children. |
What is involved | · The survey asks workers about their roles, their work and to how they feel about their own knowledge and skills in child mental health. |
· There are three iPads still to be won! The prize draw will be drawn in November. |
Your survey responses are anonymous – if you would like to enter the prize draw, your contact details will be captured separately. |
The survey takes about 25 mins to complete. |
