Branch – Queensland

  • The QLD Branch is supported by a Branch Management Committee elected by the Branch membership. We service and represent Social Workers in Southern Queensland from the southern border to Gladstone (below Latitude 22 south).

    The Branch’s key role is to provide local support for AASW members through a range of activities that enable members to network, develop practice skills and organise around social justice issues.

    Join the Brisbane Meanjin Practice Group to celebrate NAIDOC Week with a presentation by Josh Ormond on “Narrative Theory: A Culturally Responsive Approach to Practice.“.

    QLD BMC NAIDOC Breakfast

    Join the QLD BMC as we honour and celebrate 50 years of NAIDOC Week. This year’s theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy,” celebrates the past, while looking to the future shaped by strong young leaders and enduring community vision.
