The VIC Branch is supported by a Branch Management Committee elected by the Branch membership.
The Branch’s key role is to provide local support for AASW members through a range of activities that enable members to network, develop practice skills and organise around social justice issues.

Forum to be held on Friday, 10 April 2026, 9:30 am – 4:00 pm (AEDT)
Under the theme Many Voices, One Profession, we invite social workers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to present at the Victorian Branch Social Work Forum being held on Friday, 10 April 2026.
EOI closes Friday, 13 March 2026 at 5:00 pm (AEDT)
Seminar, workshop and panel options available
Submit EOIs to Victorian Branch President, Jesse Hooper:
Share your expertise through 45-minute presentations, panels or workshops exploring how diverse perspectives strengthen social work. We welcome voices from Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander, CALD, LGBTIQA+, rural/regional social workers and all career stages.
Include presentation, title, format, 100-word description, connection to theme.
We warmly welcome diverse voices from across all areas of practice and career stages.
