Do you want to harness the flexibility of digital mental health treatments to implement a more accessible, inclusive and available model when working with clients? Have you considered adding iCBT to your skillset?
Social work is underpinned by key principles of social justice, with equity, human rights, accessibility and empowerment driving the profession. Supporting people to find accessible, affordable, and flexible mental health support can be challenging, particularly given the current pandemic conditions.
Digital mental health interventions can provide evidence-based, high-quality support to many individuals, by reducing the barriers to care that many are often faced with. Online mental health interventions can extend access to individuals living in rural and remote locations, is accessible through low or no-cost avenues, and can be used flexibly by the consumer to suit their own needs.
This webinar recording will draw on evidence-informed practice and consider research findings that support the efficacy of online Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (iCBT). With specific reference to iCBT treatment programs developed by THIS WAY UP, participants will build upon their clinical knowledge, confidence and understanding of how to support clients through iCBT interventions. This session will also explore how THIS WAY UP’s iCBT interventions can enhance treatment & practitioner self-care to allow clinicians to focus on more complex issues during in-person or telehealth consults, and assist in generalising core CBT skills outside of the therapy room.
Who should register? Social Workers and Allied Health Professionals who would like to learn more about using digital mental health treatments to support clients.
