Branch – VIC
The VIC Branch is supported by a Branch Management Committee elected by the Branch membership.
The Branch’s key role is to provide local support for AASW members through a range of activities that enable members to network, develop practice skills and organise around social justice issues.
On 10 April 2026, the AASW Victoria Branch of the hosted the Social Work Forum on the theme ‘Many Voices, One Profession’ at Monash University’s Caulfield campus.
150 social workers came together to celebrate the diversity of the profession, taking part in 13 workshops and webinars from Victorian social workers on topics ranging from family violence and policy, to school based social work and the use of generative AI in social work practice.
