This two-part webinar explores the broader topic of difference and diversity from a LGBTQI+ lens. These webinars focus on LGBTQI+ awareness in schools, aiming to create a supportive and affirming atmosphere for all students, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
These webinars include psychoeducation, personal stories and statistical insights from a developmental perspective including psycho neuro therapy approach outlining key influences of the LGBTIQ+ experience. Participants will gain valuable insights into the challenges faced by LGBTQI+ students, as well as practical strategies for creating safer and more inclusive school environments.
Who should register?
This training welcomes social workers of various backgrounds. Whether you are employed in a school or are involved in a child-related setting, this event will be great opportunity to broaden your knowledge in working with LGBTQI+ children in an educational setting.
