NSW Branch - Connect:ED Webinar Series
0.5 CPD hours
Social workers have long been pioneers of social and economic change however many fall prey to the status quo and fail to empower change when needed. At this time of uncertainty and socio economic upheaval, we are called even more to lean in, listen and flex our approach in response to the circumstances that we are presented with. How should social workers respond to major change and disruption?
Register for the first in a new series of webinars for all social workers in order to hear NSW Branch Present, David Keegan, present on a model he has developed to help social workers establish a social innovation mindset. His presentation will provide you with an opportunity to reflect on how you respond to change and what you can do to be revolutionary in your context.
This AASW Connect:ED webinar is part of a new series helping Social Workers to connect with new ideas and reflect on their own practice. We will focus on bringing everyday social workers to talk about their practice, ideas and experiences of social work. Webinars will be 30mins (including short Q&A) and will be recorded for those who can not participate in real time.
