The Bathurst Social Workers' Practice Group is open to qualified social workers and social work students living, working or studying in the Bathurst region.

David Keegan, President of the AASW NSW Branch, will be conducting a series of visits to meet with social workers in regional NSW to provide an update on the activities of the AASW and to learn more about the issues that are important to social workers in our state.

The meeting will include a presentation, questions and networking.

Social workers who provide field education supervision or are interested in providing field education supervision to social work students are invited to attend the CUFEG & AASW field education workshop. This workshop develops knowledge and skills to support effective student supervision.

Wednesday 13th November NSW Branch - Aged Care Practice Group meeting - 13 Nov 2019

The AASW NSW Aged Care Practice Group meets bimonthly at locations across Sydney. Social workers across the public and private sector working in the field of aged care are welcome to attend.

The purpose of the group is to discuss relevant issues affecting social work practice in aged care, provide a networking platform for workers across NSW and provide ongoing professional development.
